My background
I walk with my clients on their healing journey using EMDR and attachment theory to get deep into the issues. I have found that working on attachment issues provides a lot of insight into the person you are today and how you connect with others. I am a trauma-informed therapist that is always going to provide a safe space. I work with predominantly young adults with trauma and those who want to recover from relationship abuse. I feel passionate about helping individuals recover from narcissistic abuse. After living in different countries, I know it’s important to respect each individual as they are! I believe that the therapeutic relationship I build with my client is the most important part of making therapy work; therefore, I am going to meet you with unconditional positive regard and authenticity.
I am a licensed graduate social worker working to receive my clinical license. I received my Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA then I went to the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. where I received my Master’s in Social Work with a clinical concentration. I am licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
When I am not working, I like to go on walks, do yoga, and hangout with my friends. I also love to explore new places and travel.
